ABOUT OUR CONFERENCE
The 2nd Joint International Conference on Emerging Computing Technology and Sports (JICETS) 2019 is the second international conference organised by the Green Advanced Computing and Technology (GREAT) Research Group, Center of Excellence Geopolymer and Green Technology (CEGeoGTech), Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP), Malaysia.
Due to the rapid expansion of development in Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Media, Networking and Computing, it has a significant impact to the way human is communicating and doing businesses nowadays.
Technology in general, computing and science in particular are becoming an important support for many activities directly or indirectly in relations to computers and security. In addition, sport sciences also include to improve the physical activities, sports medicine, biotechnology and nutrition, sports management, and all imaginable application areas in sports.
It is our great pleasure to invite all of you to our sequence joint conference "The 2nd JICETS 2019", where this year's event consists of several main tracks to be held in Bandung, Indonesia from 25 - 27 November 2019. This conference intends to be a meeting point for academics, researchers and professional practitioners to exchange ideas and develop synergies. It will certainly provide an opportunity for them to share their knowledge on issues, opportunities and challenges that need to be studied and addressed. The findings are shared through presentations and sharing ideas by the 'keynote'. Furthermore, the talks by guest speakers are expected to provide input and insight to support the development of the latest issues on 'computing' and 'sports' technologies to the global level.
The conference is expected to attract the participation of academics, researchers and professional practitioners of 'computing' and 'sports' in Malaysia and also abroad. Knowledge sharing of ideas among academics and professionals has the potential to bridge the gaps and build an understanding on the various aspects of the development and management of 'computing' and 'sports' technologies nationally or internationally.

In conjunction with our joint conference, we are also organising a back-to-back event, which is a pre-conference workshop on how to make a good journal publication, apply for a research funding and utilising technology in teaching. The International Research Grants & Publications (IRGP) Workshop aims to support participants to develop their researches to a further stage through in-depth discussions. |
THE 2ND JICETS 2019 DIVISIONS
The 2nd Joint International Conference on Emerging Computing Technology and Sports (JICETS) 2019 consists of two divisions: the Conference Division and the Workshop Division.
KEYNOTE SPEAKER
ASSOC. PROF. DR. MASOUD MOHAMMADIAN
Associate Professor Dr. Masoud Mohammadian from University of Canberra, Australia will be giving his keynote speech and also a talk at one of the workshop sessions. He specialises in adaptive self-learning systems, fuzzy logic, genetic algorithms, neural networks and application of computational intelligence techniques for learning and adaptation of intelligent systems and intelligent agents for decision making, data security and privacy, web-based information filtering, data mining and cloud computing in public sector. Associate Professor Dr. Ahmad Munir Che Muhamed is the Director of Sports and Recreational Centre at Universiti Sains Malaysia. He specialises in environmental exercise physiology where he had examined the influence of relative humidity in the development of heat stress and its effect on sports performance.
